Insurance & Financial Information
Dental care is an investment in your health and wellbeing. To help alleviate financial stress, we are happy to provide estimates in advance of any treatment. Following your initial visit we will be able to revise that intial estimate and provide a more accurate estimate based on the doctors diagnosis. We will also provide any necessary paper work for your insurance provider so that you can confirm how much they will reimburse you for the proposed treatment. Your insurance plan is a contract between you, your employer and the insurance company. Insurance companies will not provide us information directly.
By maintaining regular preventive visits, and regular exams you can avoid problems, or detect them when they are still minor. This will dramatically reduce your overall dental costs. Generally, preventive care is covered at a higher percentage by insurance companies than major restorative care. If you can’t afford prevention, how will you afford disease?
We will work with you and your insurance company to ensure that you get the greatest possible benefit from your plan. If both you and your partner have dental insurance it is possible for you to be covered by two plans concurrently and we can help you with the related paperwork to ensure you receive maximum benefit. It is important that you notify us of any changes in your plan or your address so that your payments are not delayed.
At time of treatment, you will be responsible for the payment of your account in full and your insurance company will pay you directly. This generally takes 7-10 days, but can be as quick as two days with our electronic submissions system if you set up direct deposit into your bank account with your insurance company.
We accept cash, Debit, Visa and/or MasterCard payment which is expected at time of treatment. For larger procedures we can establish a payment plan over the number of visits involved. If you have any questions about fees, or insurance reimbursement, please speak with one of our very knowledgeable front desk staff who will gladly assist you.
